Overview of Programs and Curriculum
TWINKLE EDUCARE we believe every child should feel happy and confident. In the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) we provide a supportive and secure environment which enables our children to grow and flourish socially, emotionally and academically. We nurture an enjoyment of learning through a wide range of engaging and personalised activities, utilising both the indoor and outdoor spaces we have on offer at our class room, as well as making the most of the rich learning experiences our locality provides us with.
The right childcare option is the one that suits you and your child best
Make sure you get a good understanding of the options available, and be guided by what you feel is best for you and your child. You should also be aware that there are added benefits in choosing a government approved childcare service. Children are more ready to learn when they feel comfortable and trust their environment.
Play is how children learn
For a young child, play is much more than fun and games. It lets them explore, identify, negotiate, take risks and learn how to problem solve. Under the direction of skilled early childhood teachers and educators, play-based learning can make an enormous difference to a child’s development. They are more likely to have better social, emotional and memory skills, language development, and behaviour control. They are also more likely to adjust well to school and later learning. So it’s worth choosing a childcare service that offers an approved early learning program, and staff with experience and qualifications in play-based learning. A stable relationship between your child and their educator helps your child’s development.
A safe, healthy environment means safe, healthy children
Your child’s wellbeing should always come first. So while getting messy playing with paint, sand and mud is an essential part of learning, it’s equally essential that their environment is hygienic and safe. When taking a centre tour, pay careful attention to the quality of equipment such as cots and toys. Ask about their policies when it comes to things like sun safety and ensure you are comfortable with their security procedures for pick-ups and drop-offs. It’s worth investing the time to take a good look around the centres you are considering and check that they take cleanliness and safety as seriously as you do.
Children function best in stable, nurturing relationships
The relationships your child shares with their teachers and educators are crucial. You want to be sure that the people who care for your child not only have the right qualifications, but have a genuine love of children as well. So visit the childcare provider you are considering and watch the staff in action. Are they engaged in activities with the children? Are the children engaged, happy and content? It’s easy to spot a teacher or educator who has a real rapport with the children in their care. Try to take note of how they interact with families. If you are naturally comfortable with your child’s educator, it will help build trust so your child feels secure with them too.

We plan the curriculum to ensure our students are making consistent, effective progress towards these Early Leaning Goals, which all children are expected to attain by the end of their time in Reception. In meeting these goals, our students are supported by a hardworking, dedicated team of teachers and support staff, working in unison to ensure every pupil reaches the heights of their potential.
High-quality early learning
It’s a fact: a child only benefits from early learning when it's high quality. Preschool program’s curriculum is evidence-informed. This means you can count on your child getting the very best early childhood education based on world-leading research, practices and techniques that engages their natural curiosity and provokes learning and development.
Your child will build their social skills, confidence and independence and learn foundation literacy and numeracy skills needed for success at school. Preschool program is delivered by university qualified Early Childhood Teachers, who also continue to learn though ongoing professional development opportunities provided by Twinkle Educare.
Early learning experts agree: Play is so important in the early years and is the way in which children organise and make sense of the world around them as they interact with people, objects and each other. Play allows children to explore, discover, negotiate, take risks, create meaning and solve problems – important foundations for developing literacy, numeracy and social skills.
Preschool program aims for the right mix of fun, structured learning and physical activity. Preschool teachers embed elements of teaching and learning within play experiences each and everyday that children are interested in and naturally drawn to – and therefore more likely to stay engaged with.
Creating a smooth transition to school
Preschool, depending which state you live in, is a high-quality early learning program delivered the year before a child starts school. It’s a crucial year where children are equipped with the vital skills needed for school and life success.
Twinkle Educare program helps children develop foundation literacy and numeracy skills and supports their social and emotional wellbeing – preparing them for a successful transition to school. Families can expect a range of centre initiatives that build a child's school readiness such as excursions to the local school and library and 'lunch box' days to build a child's independent skills.
